Returning to the Written Word — A New Beginning at Gnana Surabhi

There was a time when writing was a regular part of my life. Back in 2009, I used to share my thoughts on this blog quite often. Somewhere along the way, I lost the content I had written, and with it, the rhythm of blogging slowly faded.

Years passed. Life continued to offer experiences, questions, lessons, and moments worth remembering. I kept thinking, observing, and learning—but I wasn’t putting those thoughts into words here.

Today, I want to change that.

I’m returning to Gnana Surabhi, not with a grand announcement or a promise of profound wisdom, but with a simple intention: to make a little space each day for reflection.

Some days, I may write about a small observation from everyday life. On others, a story from our epics, a thought about relationships, a lesson from history, or an idea about learning, kindness, responsibility, and the choices we make. Not every reflection will have a perfect answer. Sometimes, a good question is worth sharing too.

These posts will be personal reflections, but I hope the ideas themselves will be universal—something a reader can consider, discuss, agree with, or even challenge. Writing, after all, is not only a way to express what we know; it is also a way to discover what we have yet to understand.

I would like to try writing one reflection every day. Some will be brief, and others may need more room. I may miss a day now and then, but I want to keep returning to the habit—with curiosity rather than pressure.

I cannot recover every word I lost years ago. But I can begin writing new ones.

If you happen to stop by, welcome. I hope something here gives you a reason to pause and think—and perhaps share a thought of your own.

Here’s to beginning again, one reflection at a time.
